Autonomous Mobile Robots
Unlock dangerous or inaccessible environments using specialized mobile robots
ART Robotics develops autonomous mobile robots that can sense the environment and interact with products and other systems.
Using automated decision making they achieve their goal, even in unpredictable circumstances. They can determine their location and navigate (semi-) autonomously through unknown territory using dedicated traction and navigation modules.
Our robots feature modular software and hardware modules can be connected and configured to unlocks the many different applications (such as painting, coating, treatment or cleaning of surfaces).
This enables them to perform automated inspection and handling tasks in dangerous working conditions (high on rooftops, confined spaces, toxic environments) and locations that are remote, difficult to reach or just enormous in size.
This results in consistent execution of tasks, while the progress is tracked every step of the way.
HELIOS is our fully automated solar panel cleaning service using small autonomous cleaning robots. A crystal clear example of an autonomous mobile robots.
Because every residential solar installation looks different and since they are located in high or inaccessible places, cleaning them is difficult, time-consuming but also dangerous.
Our lightweight robots can autonomously clean solar panels. An innovative traction system allows them to move on inclined surfaces and even cross over to adjacent panels. The robots can navigate autonomously based on accurate position estimation and edge detection. A brush and vacuum combination ensures a high-quality cleaning of the panel surface.
This results in more efficient panels which produce more green energy, generate more financial return and are now nice and clean.
