What?
As a Cloud / DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing secure and scalable infrastructure that supports cloud dashboards, firmware updates, remote monitoring, and data storage. You’ll work closely with our team to ensure a smooth deployment and operations pipeline for both embedded devices and cloud applications. You are the go-to expert for cloud platforms, automation, and system reliability.
Your main tasks will consist of:
- Designing and managing infrastructure on cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Implementing CI/CD pipelines for backend and firmware updates using tools like Docker and Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Building and maintaining robust OTA update pipelines for both microcontrollers like ESP32 and Linux-based devices.
- Securing device provisioning and managing network access control to ensure safe communication between devices and cloud systems.
- Setting up and optimizing databases, including time-series databases like InfluxDB, and SQL/NoSQL systems
Who?
You’ll fit right in if you recognize yourself in the following:
- You have experience working with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and understand how to scale systems securely.
- You’re proficient in DevOps practices, including CI/CD, containerization (Docker), and Infrastructure-as-Code.
- You’ve built or maintained OTA update pipelines, ideally for embedded platforms like ESP32 or Linux devices.
- You’re comfortable managing device security, from provisioning to ongoing access control.
- You know how to work with time-series databases (e.g. InfluxDB) as well as SQL or NoSQL databases.
- You’re not afraid to own critical infrastructure and improve it iteratively.
- You have a degree in engineering and ideally 3+ years of professional experience.
- You’re a communicative teamplayer
- You’re hands-on and thrive on building reliable, secure, and automated cloud infrastructure
